A Living Legend
The World was too small for this man, and I am not just saying this because he is my Father - It quite literally was. The son of an Italian Painter, who grew up playing with transistors & Electronics decided one day that he wanted to entertain people instead. Although he was a badass drummer, he was an even better DJ. Aside from this, he put over 45yrs into PECO, drove celebrities around in Limo's for the Telethon, saved peoples lives as part of an Emergency Response Team, designed and built an entire swimclub pump room, inventor & engineer, built custom motorcycles, was a coach & part of the Aldan Boosters, with a plethora of side work for people who needed everything from Car repair to Computer Work. He somehow still made time to create so many countless memories with my family and always made time for his grandkids. 50 years ago this year (2019), he decided to sell his drumset for a couple turntables, not knowing what his fate would be. 50 years forward - GrandEvents will still be run by a Rob Grande and his Legacy will continue. Thanks for everything Dad, we miss you!

Turning A Vision Into a Reality
With a Mother who taught Piano and was a Vocal coach, along with a Father who was a Drummer turned DJ, I was born into this industry. As a 2nd generation DJ, this business became more of a second nature to me rather than a "Gig". After my Father passed down the "Headphones", I decided to combine my background which consists of Special Events and Effects, Graphic Design, and Audio/Video/IT Integration into this business to see where it would go. With that, GrandEvents was born. I still offer the same great prices and service that my Father offered since 1969, but I used my personal contacts to build a 1-stop shop for all of your event needs - And now we have an Inflatable Pub (#2 will be around in the future as well) along with something else on order that most people didn't know existed.

In March 2018, Lynn & I were discussing the future of GrandEvents at a family function, and Mark expressed an interest in helping us. 2 weeks later, Mark joined GrandEvents and has been helping with Advertising, Sales, & Client Relations. He has also been handling the brunt of our Photo Booth jobs. Lately, we have been working on the the Audio end of the business and some other Top Secret projects that we will be rolling out in 2019. Since Mark didn't send me a brief Bio like I asked 2 weeks ago, this is his Bio & Pic, until he stumbles on to this page and yells at me to change it. Nice Rod..
Addendum: It's 2020 and Mark still hasn't updated this, so we are leaving it as is for now. Shhhh don't tell him if you see him. Lets see if we can drag this out a few more years!
